Welcome to pro Trade Connect ( "We," "Us," or "our"). By using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. 

1. About us.

Pro Trade Connect connects homeowners and businesses ("Clients") with vetted, trusted trades, local tradespeople ("members"). We provide:

• A platform for Clients to find trusted trades.
• An optional project coordinator service.
• A Guidance Page offering helpful resources.
• Membership benefits including promotions and prizes.

2. Membership

• Only vetted, approved tradespeople can become members.
• Membership costs £25.00 per month or £250.00 annually paid securely via Stripe.
• Promotional offers may provide free membership periods of varying lengths. Any applicable offer will be clearly communicated before membership begins
• Members are vetted for relevant certifications, insurance and work experience.
• We may suspend or terminate membership for false information or misconduct.

3. Fair Play Guarantee

When homeowners submit jobs, Pro Trade Connect verifies them before sharing with suitable members. Opportunities are matched based on factors such as trade type, location and suitability, and are distributed fairly across our network rather than solely on a first come, first served basis. We limit each project that gets sent to us to a maximum of 3 trades, giving member a fair oppourtunity to quote. 

4. Project Coordinator Service 

Homeowners and businesses may choose to use our optional Project Coordinator service for projects with an estimated value of £12,000 or more.

The Project Coordinator service is designed to help organise and support larger projects by assisting with communication, scheduling, progress updates, and helping projects run smoothly.

Our coordination fee is calculated based on the requirements of each project and may be charged as either:

• A percentage of the total project value; or
• An hourly coordination rate based on the time required to manage the project.

The agreed coordination fee will be confirmed before the service begins.

Pro Trade Connect does not carry out construction work, employ tradespeople, or act as the contractor for any project.

Tradespeople remain independent businesses and are responsible for their own work, pricing, contracts, insurance, and payments.

Payments for work completed by tradespeople are made directly between the client and the tradesperson. Pro Trade Connect does not handle, hold, or process payments for construction work.

5. Member benefits 

• Their business profile listed on our Trusted Trades page.
• Direct homeowner contact via the platform (very easy access for clients to use)
• Monthly prizes (vouchers, tools or similar) as appreciation for being part of the team.
• "Trade of the Week" recognition and social media features 

Trades Hub

Trades Hub is a feature of Pro Trade Connect designed to provide tradespeople with access to selected third party products, services, offers and business support.

Products and services displayed through Trades Hub may include tools, equipment, workwear, merchant offers, vehicle leasing, finance, insurance, accounting and other trade related products and services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, products and services featured within Trades Hub are supplied by independent third parties and not by Pro Trade Connect.

Prices, discounts, availability and offers shown through Trades Hub may change or be withdrawn without notice. Users should confirm the current price, terms and availability directly with the relevant provider before making a purchase or entering into an agreement.

Pro Trade Connect is not responsible for the fulfilment, quality delivery or performance of products or services purchased directly from third party providers.

Any contract entered into with a third party provider is between the user and that provider and will be subject to the providers own terms, conditions and privacy policy. 

Affiliate & Referral Relationships

Some links on Trade Hub may be affiliate or referral links. pro Trade Connect may receive a commission, referral fee or commercial benefit when a user clicks a link, makes a purchase, submits an enquiry or becomes a customer of a Trades Hub partner.

6. Payments

• All Payments are handled securely through Stripe.
• Pro Trade Connect does not store card or payment details
• Membership fees are recurring monthly charges until cancelled.
• For coordination services, Pro Trade Connect receives only its service fee, we do not act as an intermediary or agent for client-trade payments 
• Refunds, if applicable are managed directly between the client and the tradesperson, as we are not the service provider
• Members may cancel their recurring membership at any time. Cancellation will prevent future charges, but access will continue until the end of the paid membership period unless otherwise agreed.

7. Guidance Page.

Our Guidance Page includes price guides, planning permission advice, and choosing the right tradesperson. This is for general information only and does not constitute professional or legal advice    

8. Responsibilities and Liabilities.

For Homeowners:

• We conduct basic checks on tradespeople before including them in our network, which may include verifying public qualifications, certifications, and relevant insurance where applicable.
• Please provide accurate job details and communicate clearly with tradespeople.

For Tradespeople:

• Ensure compliance with laws, insurance, regulations, and qualifications.
• Provide accurate profile and application information.

For All Users:

• Use our platform in good faith.
• Avoid submitting false information or impersonating others.
• Do not misuse the platform for spam or abuse.

General Liability:

• Pro Trade Connect facilitates connections and coordination only.
• We are not liable for the conduct, quality or performance of tradespeople or outcomes of projects 
• We are not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising between users.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
• We do not hold client funds and are not liable for payment disputes or refunds 
• Our responsibility ends once a successful introduction or coordination has been made 

Quotations:

Tradespeople may submit quotations to Pro Trade Connect for forwarding to customers. Pro Trade Connect does not prepare, set, approve or endorse the quotation, price or scope of works. Customers are responsible for reviewing quotations and deciding which tradesperson to appoint. Any agreement for the work remains directly between the customer and the tradesperson.

9. Dispute Resolution

Users should attempt to resolve disputes directly. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or alternative dispute resolution before legal action.

10. Reviews and Third-Party Platforms

We may display customer reviews and ratings collected through third-party platforms such as Trustpilot. These reviews are hosted and managed independently and are subject to their own terms and moderation policies.

Pro Trade Connect Ltd does not edit or influence review content and is not responsible for its accuracy or reliability.

11. Intellectual property

All website content and branding belong to Pro Trade Connect. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of our materials without written consent.

12. Termination 

We may suspend or terminate any account or membership that breaches these terms. Fees already paid are non refundable.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these terms as needed. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any updates.

14. Governing law 

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom
